Should you wish to use any artwork (including, but not limited to, watercolor, illustrations, and calligraphy) from your invitation suite on other pieces or your wedding website, an additional licensing fee will be applied to your invoice. This includes your website, day-of items, thank you stationery, and any other item that is out of the scope of your original agreement with what Dear Kathryn will provide.
Artwork may not be reproduced or reused in any form without written consent from Dear Kathryn. Additionally, one may not screenshot, crop, distort, manipulate, reconfigure, mimic, animate, edit, extract portions, or intentionally alter colors of the Artwork.
Art cannot be printed by clients, the bride, groom, marrier, parents of the couple, or any third party other than Dear Kathryn. This includes, but is not limited to, crests, stationery artwork, motifs, patterns, illustrations, design elements and calligraphy.
Calligraphy, Address Printing, and the Post
The post office reads envelopes electronically. Due to the nature of calligraphy and script fonts, some addresses or calligraphy styles will be more or less difficult to read when put through the USPS, as is the nature with any handwritten address. Any address that cannot be read by machine will likely be hand inspected. If the address still cannot be delivered, it will be returned to the return address. Dear Kathryn is not responsible for resending or reimbursing for invitations or envelopes that do not make it to their destination. As with any mass mailing, you're likely to have 1-3% of your pieces be undelivered. Please check your address list carefully to ensure all of your addresses are correct and to minimize this effect.
In addition, the USPS (and other mail delivery services) sometimes delivers envelopes with tears, smudges, and/or marks. Once your items leave my studio, Dear Kathryn is not responsible for these tears, smudges, and/or marks appearing on delivered items.
If Dear Kathryn is addressing and sending out your pieces for you, Dear Kathryn guarantees that each address you provide me goes into the mail. Any mail not received by its intended recipient is not under the liability of Dear Kathryn. If any pieces need to be remailed, you may either mail the piece yourself from the excess given back to you upon the completion of the project, or pay Dear Kathryn to address and remail the additional pieces at the cost of the calligraphed or printed envelope(s) and a $35 fee.
